Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Senior Accountant with a strong background in U.S. tax law and accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling corporate finances, real estate accounting, and tax strategy planning including REP (Real Estate Professional), STR (Short-Term Rental), depreciation, and cost segregation studies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Management and Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Advise on tax strategies and implications for business decisions. Prepare tax returns and filings for both the company and real estate properties.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates who have direct experience in real estate and technology sectors.
• Knowledge of U.S. Tax Law: Extensive knowledge of U.S. tax law, with a strong understanding of tax planning and compliance requirements for businesses and real estate investments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Wave accounting software and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with data, interpret financial records, prepare detailed reports, and make recommendations based on findings and projections.
